Just read a really nice, cogent piece in the Times regarding how vegetarianism does or does not affect the environment. By breaking down the three principal gases involved in creating damage to our planet’s climate, the author, Nicolette Hahn Niman, does a really thorough job at addressing how human actions on the ground level factor in to larger planetary concerns.
